When Save the Duck acquired the lease of one of Venice’s most famous clothing stores some feared that the contemporary retail design of the Milanese Ethical Fashion brand could have clashed with the picturesque narrow alley where the unit is located.

On the other hand, the local character and the brand’s voice have blurred magically creating a deeply enticing and exciting film-like atmosphere. The brand’s iconic orange duck is placed on the store window, occupying most of the display area.

The iconic orange duck works like a call to arms for ethical fashion enthusiasts since Save the Duck has rapidly become the go-to brand for responsible clothing in the EU. Once inside the retail design combines the nautical reference of the below deck area of a barge with the sci-fi atmosphere of the brand’s retail design concept.
